Night of the StormThe sudden storm had been relentless in its natural fury, fat water droplets plummeting from the sky in heavy turrents, drenching everyone and anything unfortunate to the very bone marrow. The high-pitched, whistling winds accompanied the ruthless rain itself, battering and clawing at the house he took shelter in, undoubtedly trying its hardest to tear any paopu tree from its roots in its tumultuous path. You would think that would be enough. Though deafening thunder boomed from above to make it all the more fiercer, nearly loud enough to shake the building to its foundations; all of which were followed by severe flashes of light.
